She has secured and led more than $13 million in funding from large national and private foundations to help communities better their world. She is a sought-after speaker, who has presented at MIT, TedX, the National Science Foundation, HATCH, among others.

Meenu Singh

Meenu creates learning experiences that bring design thinking and other creative problem-solving methods to learners across disciplines. Meenu teaches at the Stanford d.school’s Teaching and Learning Studio, where she’s worked with 400+ university educators, department heads, and deans from around the world who are experimenting with new ways of bringing design thinking into higher education. She is part of the core team that designed and is currently implementing the Innovative Teaching Scholars (ITS) program for professors across 9 leading universities in Thailand. Meenu’s recent work is focused on bringing design thinking into medical education, including working with educators at Stanford’s School of Medicine and designing a mobile application to improve formative assessment in residency education.

Elysa Fenenbock

Elysa applies creativity to projects at the intersection of design, art, and education and enables her clients to thrive through prototyping. As Google’s first designer-in-residence, she facilitates human-centered design processes and spearheads impact projects. At The Creative Nomad Project, she leads global organizations to foster creativity in endeavors ranging from transforming Peruvian artisans into entrepreneurs, to envisioning the future of K12 education in rural Panama. Closer to home, Elysa teaches at the Stanford d.school. Previously, Elysa worked at IDEO where she developed the Design Thinking for Educators platform.

Dr. Amanda Duley

Dr. Amanda, owner of SciDesigns Communication, is a trained research scientist who loves to play in the science communication and education fields as an interpretive writer, co-designer of community educational experiences, and educational experiences designer. Dr. Amanda has published and presented on her STEM educational projects that include national funding from NIH and NSF as well as locally funded projects. She has over 8 years of experience in co-designing and creating STEM curriculum with scientists and educators for informal educational experiences including field trips, school visits, assemblies, and in museum settings. Cross-sector projects include the Big Sky Brain Project, Brain Lab, and UMHM Health Lab at spectrUM Discovery Center, international award winning EmPower Place at Missoula Food Bank and Community Center, and the DNA Tornado and play space at the Missoula Public Library.

Blake Wigdahl

Blake, Principal of Process Curiosity, is a nationally recognized facilitator and designer who is currently working with for-profit and nonprofit organizations in Silicon Valley, Austin, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and Missoula. Blake has a deep understanding of best practices in designing and operating immersive and interactive spaces and experiences. He is passionate about engaging end users in the design of these experiences, spaces, and products from day one.  Blake has over 20 years of experience in informal science education, including the Exploratorium, The Tech Interactive, Thanksgiving Point Institute, Museum of the Rockies, and the Utah Museum of Fine Arts.  Blake Wigdahl, Principal of Process Curiosity,

Becky Carroll

Becky has worked for Inverness Research since 1990. Her work has involved studies of K-12 mathematics and science education, as well as studies of exhibition and program development in the informal science education field. In the informal field, her areas of interest include studies of collaboratives and networks, programs for youth, exhibition development projects, making and tinkering programs, and professional development for informal science educators. In the formal field, areas of interest include rural education improvement efforts and teacher professional development. Becky has a B. S. in English and Secondary Education from the University of Wyoming, and prior to coming to Inverness Research, she was a middle and high school teacher.

William Swaney

Bill is a member of the Confederated Salish Kootenai Tribes (CSKT).  A scientist, professor, former head of tribal education for CSKT, and a nationally recognized expert in Indian Education, Bill has led the design of culturally inclusive and robust educational and career pathways for over two decades. To all his projects, he brings the best practices of diversity, equity, and inclusivity program design.

Tessa Millhollin

Tessa is our graphic designer and graduate of Portland State University’s Graphic Design program. Her work spans branding, pop culture, bold typography, layout, and print to produce compelling systems. She enjoys talking about Greys Anatomy, Cher movies, Mexico City, magazine collections, donuts, her dogs, and glorious tacos.
